I chose to stay at Hotelf1 in Merlebach just for the convenience of exploring Collegiale Saint-Etienne. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the private parking and large public square just a stone's throw away. It made parking my car hassle-free and convenient. the low-cost hotel provided free WiFi and an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, which was a great value for money.

Possibly the worst hotel ever. The facilities are in poor condition, with broken floors, squeaking doors, and neglected walls, doors, and ceilings.
